Description for EDCG697:
The year is 2080. World War III has devastated the planet. Those left are fighting to preserve their culture, knowledge, and skills. Since they were seen as cultural gatekeepers, all sides of the war targeted teachers thus there are no teachers left to teach the next generation. The Expert Elders have tried to pass their knowledge on, but their complete lack of teaching ability leaves everyone frustrated. Out of desperation, the Commander of the Free World commissioned an elite group of Engineering Elders to build a time machine to bring a teacher back to the future and a group of Historian Elders to decide who to bring back. After poring over the remaining historical documents, the Historian Elders have chosen you based on your superior reputation as a teacher. Your mission is to develop a curricular tool which will engage and teach future generations and serve as a model for the Expert Elders to emulate. This involves finding the elusive Fountain of Youth of education-transfer, or applying learning to new situations. This course will help you achieve your mission. No programming skills required.
